  15/04/2024  submission of the paper by the author(s) (title and abstract) – link to the abstract submission form

  30/07/2024  submitting the improved version of the paper by the author(s) and responding to the reviewer’s comments

Publishing Opportunities

Conference book

A conference book will be printed in the form of a reviewed scientific monograph including previously posted and edited papers. We request papers up to 25,000 characters in length.

Monographs published in previous editions of the CMQ conference can be obtained on the conference website in the Books menu. We encourage you to read.

Editorial notes on the monograph

The text for the monograph should be submitted in electronic form (Microsoft Word), in the recommended text volume up to 25.000 characters.

If the manuscript contains diagrams or figures, they should be provided separately in editable graphic files (files numbered in the following order: Fig1, Fig2,…). If you need to include scans in your article, we kindly ask you to use high resolution scans.

Please include references after the main body of the paper, using the APA style rules: https://apastyle.apa.org.

Please complete Biographical Note(s) at the end of the paper.

The works published in previous years can be found in the “Monographs” menu. The edition rules are the same, as for the monograph from 2022. To prepare the paper, please use the template: CMQ2023_paper_format.docx, which can be downloaded below. It includes styles that we ask you to use when preparing the paper.

Events within the Conference:

1.
Polish And English-speaking Plenary Sessions
The conference will begin with plenary sessions in both English and Polish, presenting selected research papers by Polish and international scholars.

2.
International English-speaking Session
The international session will gather scientists from foreign academic institutions and experts from global economic organizations, aiming to exchange knowledge and experiences.

3.
Thematic Scientific Sessions
There will be specialized scientific sessions focused on areas such as management, controlling, information technology, quality, marketing, accounting, and tourism. These sessions will serve as a platform for presenting selected papers and for active participation in panel discussions. A session dedicated to doctoral students will also be organized.

4.
Expert Panels
Meetings with practitioners will be held, during which discussions on key economic issues at the national and international level will stimulate creative exchange of ideas. Twelve expert panels on a variety of topics are planned.

5.
Business-Science Panel
The inaugural edition of the panel will be an opportunity to present the results of scientific research conducted by the staff of the Krakow University of Economics and their application in the economic sector.

6.
Economy 4.0 Panel
The conference will also serve as a platform to present the latest trends and innovations in industry and the service sector, thanks to the participation of experts and specialists in this area.

7.
Student Sessions
A part of the conference dedicated to students from domestic and foreign universities will allow for the collection of their works in a separate monograph. An English-language poster session will enable young researchers to present their research findings and engage in discussion. The result will be an e-book focusing on issues related to sustainable development.

…. about the CMQ Conference

Welcome to the website of the sixteenth edition of the International Scientific Conference “Knowledge-Economy-Society”, which provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience for the scientific community, representatives of local and central government and the business sector.

The Knowledge-Economy-Society Conference is a unique opportunity to discuss current challenges facing the Polish, European and global economy. It focuses on a wide range of topics such as business management and processes, human capital management, business economics, accounting, controlling, marketing, market communication, trade, market institutions, tourism, leisure, market analysis, marketing research, IT, computer systems, logistics, commodity science, quality management, safety and quality of industrial products and food, technology management, product ecology, as well as digitalisation, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence in the economy.

The conference highlights the importance of modern technology and innovation in the development of the modern economy and society.

 

…. about the Organizers

For the last five years, the College of Management and Quality Sciences at the Cracow University of Economics (UEK) has been responsible for the organisation of the conference, continuing the role played by the Faculty of Management at UEK for the first eleven editions. The College of Management and Quality Sciences was established on 1 October 2019 as a result of the merger of the Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Commodity and Product Management and the respective management chairs of the Faculty of Economics and International Relations. This strategic reorganisation responded to the need to adapt the structure of the Krakow University of Economics to the new classification of academic disciplines, while promoting integration and cooperation between units specializing in management and quality.

Today, the College of Management and Quality Sciences brings together 25 departments belonging to three institutes: The Institute of Computer Science, Accounting and Controlling, The Institute of Quality and Product Management Sciences and The Institute of Management, which constitute a strong foundation for the implementation and development of scientific research in these fields.
