Plenary Conference CMQ2023 – SUMMARY
The 15th International Conference CMQ2023 of the College of Management and Quality Sciences of the University of Economics Knowledge-Economy-Society, which lasted 3 days and started with a student session entitled “Innovation Management in the Region”, has come to an end.
In this 15th anniversary edition, the members of the Organizational Committee successfully achieved their shared intention of creating a meeting and idea exchange platform for the international community of academic professionals, local and central government officials, and business people. The conference aimed to foster a conducive atmosphere for the exchange of thoughts among diverse participants.
We wanted our guests to have the opportunity to meet other experts, establish contacts, and collaboratively develop ideas from various fields. Moreover, the international character of the conference was emphasized by the participation of speakers from new countries. This year, in addition to the scientific community from our affiliated universities in Avilla (Spain) and Messina (Italy), we were joined by representatives from Germany, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and the United States. This fact further solidified our scientific event in international terms. We express deep satisfaction that CMQ2023 Conference continues to expand its reach both nationally and internationally.
Through the presentation and dissemination of scientific research findings, scholars and researchers were able to share knowledge about the latest discoveries and their research outcomes. The conference served as an academic communication platform, providing an excellent opportunity for interaction in a supportive atmosphere. Furthermore, we aimed to encourage collaboration between business representatives and the academic community. Our goal was to showcase concrete examples of success resulting from fruitful cooperation between these two sectors. We are convinced that promoting mutual benefits will also generate further areas for collaboration.
Another goal we achieved was to present and discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges related to the Economy 4.0. We wanted our guests to delve into these issues and gain a new perspective on economic development in the era of digitization and technological changes.
Additionally, we aimed to familiarize ourselves with the opinions and suggestions of entrepreneurs, local and central administration officials regarding the commercialization possibilities of research conducted in scientific institutions. We wanted to open a dialogue between scientific institutions, entrepreneurs, and administration representatives to better understand the needs and challenges associated with the commercialization of scientific research. Through these efforts, we gained insights into opinions and suggestions regarding the practical value of research, as well as identifying ways to support the transfer of technology and innovation to the business sector and vice versa.
Moreover, with all participants in mind, we aimed to provide our guests with inspiring presentations, panel discussions, and training sessions that would help them develop skills and acquire new knowledge in their respective fields. We wanted conference participants to receive valuable tools and ideas that they could apply to their work and professional activities. We perceive our CMQ2023 Conference as an opportunity for long-term collaboration: it was a chance to build lasting business and scientific relationships. Our goal was to inspire guests to initiate collaborations, exchange information, and develop projects of mutual interest.
